Is Microsoft 365 an extra cost?
You already have it. Certaria requires M365 Business Premium, which most UK SMEs already use. If you're running Microsoft 365, you're covered. Certaria works with what you've got.
What about Power Apps licensing?
Your ISMS administrators (typically 1–3 people, not all staff) need a Power Apps Premium licence at ~£15.40/person/month. For most companies, that's £30-46/month total. The Certaria AI Agent is an optional add-on at £99/month, a conversational layer on top of the always-on Teams reminders and forms. Do I need any add-ons to get certified?
No. Certaria is complete for ISO 27001 certification on its own, and that includes custom-branded outputs, scheduled compliance snapshots and bulk Entra ID import: they are part of the plan, not extras. Add-ons are for convenience and depth, never compliance: the AI Agent (£99/month) adds conversational compliance in Teams, and the Power BI pack (£299 one-off) adds board-grade trend analytics. Nobody fails their audit because they run Certaria alone.
